UFCW LOCAL 23 FEDERAL CREDIT UNION LAUNCHES COMPLIANCE TRAINING FROM EDCOMM BANKER’S ACADEMY
(NEW YORK, NY) - December 15, 2008
UFCW Local 23 Federal Credit Union has successfully launched Focus on Compliance for Credit Unions from Edcomm Banker’s Academy. Accompanied by Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s own LMS, Learning Link®, for hosting and maintenance, this program will help the Credit Union accomplish its training needs.
Focus on Compliance for Credit Unions, from Edcomm Banker’s Academy, is a computer-based, distance learning program, which can be delivered via Internet, Intranet or CD. The program teaches compliance using easy-to-understand language in an interactive, self-paced format. Participants learn from their own perspective, with a curriculum customized to their position. Focus on Compliance for Credit Unions covers: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, Privacy, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Sarbanes-Oxley, Reg CC, Check 21, Reg E, Truth in Lending, FCRA, FACT Act, ECOA, Fair Lending, HMDA, and Bank Bribery, among others. The program also includes a quick reference to all regulations, as well as a glossary of terms and a reference library.
Testing, tracking, administration, reports and certification are easily accomplished through Learning Link®, Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s full-featured learning management system, which has an open architecture that builds on industry-standard SCORM and AICC compliance, but adds features and capabilities far beyond any competing products.
