THE FARMERS NATIONAL BANK OF EMLENTON RENEWS CONTRACT WITH EDCOMM BANKER’S ACADEMY FOR BANK TRAINING PROGRAMS
(NEW YORK, NY) - December 15, 2008

The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton has renewed its contract with Edcomm Banker’s Academy for an additional year to continue using Compliance, Teller and Sales and Service training programs and has added Sexual Harassment and Consumer Lending training. The Bank will go on to host and maintain these programs using Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s own LMS, Learning Link®.

Focus on Compliance, from Edcomm Banker’s Academy, is a computer-based, distance learning program, which can be delivered via Internet, Intranet or CD. The program teaches banking compliance using easy-to-understand language in an interactive, self-paced format. Participants learn from their own perspective, with a curriculum customized to their position. Focus on Compliance covers: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti Money Laundering (AML), USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, Privacy, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Sarbanes-Oxley, Reg CC, Check 21, Reg E, Truth in Lending, FCRA, FACT Act, ECOA, Fair Lending, HMDA, CRA, and Bank Bribery, among others. The program also includes a quick reference to all banking regulations, as well as a glossary of terms and a reference library.

Take Charge! Achieving Teller Excellence, from Edcomm Banker’s Academy, is a comprehensive program that teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude that make tellers successful for banks, credit unions or money services businesses. The program gives tellers an overview of the industry, prepares them to provide outstanding customer service, reviews the various products and services that the Financial Institution offers, such as checking, savings, CDs, loans and IRAs, and teaches tellers how to process and settle transactions while being mindful of compliance issues that affect their work. Upon completion, students are certified that they are ready to enter the financial services workforce as a teller and can provide documentation of their completion to prospective banks, credit unions and money services businesses.

Achieving Sales and Service Excellence, from Edcomm Banker’s Academy, is a computer-based, distance learning program, which can be delivered via Internet, Intranet or CD. The program teaches participants how to make sales and how to provide excellent service using easy-to-understand language in an interactive, self-paced format. Participants learn from their own perspective, with a curriculum customized to their position. Achieving Sales and Service Excellence covers sales and service skills needed to succeed, available bank products and services, customer care, selling bank products and services and, most importantly, how to create great customer relationships.

Focus on Sexual Harassment, a computer-based, distance-learning program, can be delivered via Internet, Intranet or CD-ROM. The program teaches sexual harassment compliance training using easy-to-understand language in an interactive, self-paced format. Topics covered in the course include: What is a Fair and Respectful Workplace; Federal and State EEO Laws; Types of Harassment; What to do if Harassment Occurs; Retaliation and Supervisor Responsibilities among others. The program also includes a quick reference guide to all regulations, as well as a glossary of terms and a library of reference materials.

Achieving Consumer Lending Excellence, from Edcomm Banker’s Academy, is a computer-based, distance learning program, which can be delivered via Internet, Intranet or CD-ROM. The program uses easy-to-understand language in an interactive, self-paced format. Participants learn from their own perspective, with a curriculum customized to their position. Benefits of the program include increased sales, improved customer service, smarter lending decisions, better application completion, compliance with lending policies and accurate, efficient consumer lenders. Achieving Consumer Lending Excellence also includes a glossary of terms and a library of reference materials.
