IKON SELECTS THE EDCOMM GROUP
TO PROVIDE ONLINE DOCUMENTATION FOR ITS VIRTUAL FILE ROOM
(NEW YORK, NY) - September 15, 2000
IKON Office Solutions selected The Edcomm Group to provide online help and tutorials for their customers who use IKON Virtual File Room (VFR). Designed specifically to meet the unique requirements of the legal community, the IKON Virtual File Room gives users total control of their documents over the Internet. The VFR can store over one million pages of images and other digital information and has built-in capabilities to streamline the information management process. The Virtual File Room offers advantages to significantly impact the way corporate legal departments and law firms access and manage case documents.
The Edcomm Group provided both online and printed documentation for the users of the VFR. Edcomm created a content-sensitive printing system that provides users with one-click access to a hard copy of just the information they need. A Help function built into the system allows for quick reference when utilizing a particular function or working on a specific screen within the Virtual File Room system.
Additionally, an online user support center and printed user guide were created to help users learn all about the Virtual File Room. They document all features and functions of the system and include more detailed descriptions and instructions, an overview and a glossary of terms.
